The Andromeda Galaxy

Constellation:	Andromeda.
Best Seen:	Autumn.
Telescopic Appearance:	Appears as a fuzz ball. Often said not to be very impressive. Can be seen with the naked eye from a truly dark site - sadly my back garden does not qualify!
Photo Details:	Taken through a 500mm f/8 lens, piggybacked on the SCT. A composite of two, hour long exposures on hypered Scotchchrome 400 slide film. Many thanks to Uli Beinert for the additional processing on this image
