Constellation:	Lyra.
Best Seen:	Summer.
Telescopic Appearance:	The photograph does not do the image justice when compared to other, more spectacular looking images, which are to all intents invisible. The Ring appears as a relatively bright celestial smoke ring, somewhat smaller then the Dumbell nebula. Like the Dumbell, this nebula represents a final 'puff of gas' from a dying star, located at the centre of the nebula.
Photo Details:	An hour long exposure on unhypered Pro Gold 400 print film with the 11"SCT at f/10.
